My name is Dan Silber and I currently work at HostDime Web Hosting as the VP of Sales and Director of our UK branch. I graduated from the University of Central Florida with my BS in Information Technology.
At HostDime I started out as a Sales/Support Tech and did that for a couple years before being promoted to VP or Sales and working on solidifying our Sales Department. I have a lot of different responsibilities that range from managing my Sales Team to web design and development on our new site and some of our sister companies. I assist in product development and launching of new products within our company while maintaining and updating current products. I work directly with some of our larger clients to ensure they get the help and support they need with their servers, giving them a direct line of contact should they need anything urgently. I launched on of our sister companies SSLLayer which is our fully automated SSL purchasing system. It allows customers to purchase and configure and SSL certificate from us and receive the final certificate without an intervention from our staff being required. Two years ago I took over the operations of another sister company we have called InstantcPanelLicense which allows customers to buy licenses for version products and thanks to our automated system receive them immediately after purchase.
Apart from all of those responsibilities I helped organize and launch our UK division a little over a year ago and am still in charge of maintaining its operation.
Most recently I have taken over managing SEO for all of our websites. SEO has been a huge interest in my personal life building websites and watching the traffic grow but doing it for our company allows me to dive much deeper into the world of SEO and spend more time mastering this craft. It has become a much larger passion of mine since I started managing this for our company and will bring some great results to our business.
